This might sound a little weird but I love coleus. I had the most gorgeous coleus last summer that I bought at the Rutgers Gardens plant sale. I took some cuttings and tried to keep it over the winter but it died in March.
So last weekend I bought this hanging basket of this gigantic coleus. I knew they were perfect for this double hanging basket. I wanted to find some burgundy petunias to pair up with the hot pink ones, but I couldn’t find any so I went with purple. I love it!
Now I just need for the landlord to clean up the mess they made in the backyard. They did work on the back of the building and in doing so trampled a bunch of my plants, left garbage all over the place, and permanently let down the firescape ladder..so now I have to squeze between it to get in the backyard. Plus last weekend they were renovating a bathrrom and all that junk is back there now. Oy!
