Clipper ships!

I went to the library and took out a ton of random books: swimming, tea, cooking, vegetarian cooking, etc. So the other day I read the one on tea and the swimming one and oddly enough they both mentioned clipper ships. Apparently in the 1800′s they had races to see which clipper ship could bring back tea from China faster, and of course the first one always sold its cargo for the highest price. The previous ships were much slower.

Then I read the swimming book which is about the Total Immersion method. I actually learned this in a gym class at Stevens but I totally forgot how to do it. Anyway, they also talked about the clipper ship races. Isn’t that odd? Tea and swimming? Speaking of swimming I’ve really enjoyed getting back into the pool. I remember when I raced and we’d practice for 2hrs every day, and now I can barely do 30 minutes. Hopefully this more efficient swimming stuff works.
