My og G5 Imac decided to start randomly shutting itself off in the past week. My Mom just had this problem with her imac, and so she got the power supply replaced under her applecare warranty.
I know I bought mine about 3 years ago and after may attempts on the Apple Support site, I discovered that my warranty expired Sept 27. Drat.
I also spent the weekend redoing my bathroom. My brother was away for the weekend so I moved everything into his room. Friday I pulled up the old adhesive tiles and primed. I painted Saturday. Sunday I painted the radiator and tried to put up some molding, but coping for a sloped ceiling is a bitch. Then my mom got back and we tiled the floor. Tonight we grout! My dad is off today so I’m having him reinstall the light which we didnt do properly and replace the almond outlets and switches with white ones.
When this is all done I need to go back and paint the trim white too, but I think overall it will be fabulous. I should have taken a before photos.
